You get 5V out and can charge it with at least 1A micro USB power supply. What i secondary use to charge and power (so i never have to change a battery, ecept they get old) is adafruit's powerboost 1000c. I made this with a battery holder where I just have to put in my new charged ones and leave them so i can reuse this circuit. To really make shure their load is equal, you can connect all the grounds together and between each plus you connect a 1kOhm resistor and leave overnight so they can balance themselves. Before you first connect them in parallel, you have to charge them all to full load. You really have to be shure, that these 4 cells are from the same pruduction. I used 4 of them in parallel in my project. I appreciate the help of those that are much more knowledgeable about this than me. This is the same type of battery that is wired singly to the circuit board now. SAFT LS14500 Size AA 3.6V 2600mAh Primary Lithium (Li-SOCl2) Battery. The battery I will use four or at least more than one if there are no problems is My concern is what I don't know, which is if there are any adverse effects of having more than one battery even if in parallel. I am hoping that by having multiple batteries in parallel they can be removed one at a time and be replaced without worrying about loss of data since it is still providing enough voltage. My reason for this is that if the battery voltage drops down to the point that the machine no longer retains data then it takes about a half hour to reprogram the machine after changing (unsoldering and resoldering) the battery. I would like to use a parallel 4 battery holder that connects by soldering directly to the main board in place of the single battery and that the batteries can be removed from individually and easily without having to deal with soldering. This battery has a wire soldered at each end which is then soldered to two points on the circuit board and is used to maintain data when the machine is shut down so it is there upon startup. I have a main circuit board in a machine that over a year or two eventually drains a 3.6v lithium AA size down to 1.4V.
